The domain name is registered on your behalf (end user), not us (registrar). We do not register customer domains in our  name as it means that the domain is owned by us. In that case, there is no option to move the domain. Also, if we sell or go out of business, we will not be able to maintain your domain. Therefore, transparent and honest website hosting companies should always register their customers’ domain names, not  themselves. 

Once your domain is registered, you can choose a registration period and pay. The default is one year, but many companies register  for two, three, four, or five years at a time. The expiration date will be set accurately from the date of initial registration. Therefore, if you register your domain on January 1st  this year, it will expire on January 1st  next year.
